Chinese Checkers
Chinese checkers is a modern game that originated on the basis of “Halma”. It can be played by two to six people, both individually and in teams.

The game board is made of metal, plastic, wood or thick cardboard. The playing field has the shape of a six-pointed star with holes or recesses for chips. All the rays of the star are colored in different colors.
Chips
There are six sets of 15 chips, the color of each coincides with the color of one of the rays of the star. The most common types of chips are plastic pins or balls.

Players try to move their chips to the opposite beam. The first player or a couple of players who succeeded wins.
Starting position
If two players are playing, each player places 15 chips of the corresponding color in the opposite rays of the star. If there are more players, each has 10 chips in any beam; teammates usually take opposite beams.
The sequence of moves.
Each player moves one chip in turn.
Moves can be made along any line, that is, in six directions. Moves can be “steps” or “jumps”. The player can jump over his own and other people’s chips and can make several jumps in one move.
In the process of one move, steps and jumps cannot be combined. Jumping is optional. All the jumped chips remain on the board.
